Bright Tomorrows, as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, purposes to be a fellowship of clergy, mental health professionals, individuals with mental health concerns and their family members.

We are dedicated to reflecting the compassion of Jesus Christ by promoting mental health, helping those struggling with mental health, helping those struggling with mental illness toward a healing-recovery lifestyle, and by assisting churches in their mission to better serve those with mental health concerns.

Bright Tomorrows is interdenominational in nature, respecting the diversity of faith traditions within the unity of Christianity.

As a para-church organization, Bright Tomorrows offers Clergy Resources including:
  • Bi-monthly Breakfast Seminars designed to bring pastors/ministers together with their clinically trained counterparts to discuss mental health related topics.

  • Caring for Your Congregations Mental Health Annual Seminar.

  • Support Group Programs for your congregants. Bright Tomorrows, from September through May, offers a twice-a-month support group for adults with bipolar disorder or major depressive disorder. This curriculum-based psycho-educational support program is both hope-inspiring and Christian faith-affirming. BT also offers a twice-a-month support group for the families of those living with a mental health difficulty or disorder—this is not limited to bipolar disorder or major depressive disorder.   • Pastor-to-Pastor consultations with the President of Bright Tomorrows, Rev. Tim Reside, M.A., M.H.C. He is available to discuss strategies for better helping congregants with mental health concerns. Click for biographical and credential information.
  • Topic specific seminars and workshops offered on site at your facility.

COST:
We are supported by the freewill tax-deductible donations of those who benefit and/or appreciate the work and ministry services offered under the auspices of Bright Tomorrows. This includes welcoming churches and para-church organizations to consider including Bright Tomorrows in their benevolence budget. In addition to donations given in person or by way of postal service, donations can be made online. Simply click on the blue DONATE button at our website for instructions. In order to insure that cost not be a prohibitive factor, we do not charge for our services.
